This is the showcase match of the weekend in the EPL and on many occasions have all the hype but end up under delivering. However, I expect this one will be; as my good friend George says: "A Firewagon!!!"
Chelsea v Manchester City OVER 2.5 (-135)
It's the EPL's version of ***MNF*** and it's a great match up.
Manchester City will try their best to prevent Chelsea from gaining any ground on their EPL lead. If City win, they will comfortably lead Chelsea by a bakers dozen. The fact that Man U won on Saturday, puts more pressure on City to win and keep a safer gap between the two teams.
Chelsea has another MUST WIN match tonight and they performed well in their last one beating Valencia in the CL. They blew the doors off the Spaniards and need to repeat that performance this evening. I've notice that the team is playing better these past few matches. Drogba has stepped it up.
Chelsea's last 5 home matches in the EPL have ALL gone over the number.
City are over the number in 6 of their last 7 EPL matches.
Lets face it, Man City are a great team, have yet to lose this year in the EPL and although they are relative newcomers to the limelight at the top of the table; it creates a perfect storm for Chelsea to PUSH, PUSH, PUSH for the victory that they so desperately need to stay in the hunt. This should create GOALS, GOALS, GOALS. I hope. LOL
If this was the NFL it would be the Packers v the Patriots tonight and we would expect fireworks. On a side note I hope Chelsea wins so my good friend Andre (born and raised Chelsea Blue) will sleep well tonight.
